RISE • 4th-6th Grade
Every Sunday at 9am and 11am
The transition from elementary school to middle school comes with a lot of change. New schools, changing friend groups, new expectations, and kids are beginning to ask bigger questions about who they are and what they believe. Research shows that most people who place their faith in Jesus do so by about 5th grade.
That’s why we created Rise, our Sunday morning ministry for 4th–6th graders.
We want to give students some consistency in the midst of all that change and help bridge the gap between Salem Kids and Thrive. While so many parts of their lives may feel new, Rise will be a familiar place where they’re known, growing in confidence, and even beginning to lead.
Our goal is to help every student learn how to open God’s Word, talk with God, and see how Jesus makes a difference in their everyday life. We can’t wait to see how God works in the lives and faith of our students.
Learn how to open God's Word and talk with God through prayer
Provide a safe and consistent space to grow, lead, and be known
Help 4th-6th graders see how Jesus makes a difference in their everyday lives
