God has been moving through our church as people have begun to see how Jesus makes a difference in their eternity and in their normal, everyday lives. On Sunday morning, November 23 we are hosting a Discipleship Celebration service as we worship the Lord and celebrate how God is using the people of salem chapel to make, mobilize, and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ.

We are collecting toys and trees between now and December 7th to stock a low-cost Christmas toy store event for the families of Kimberley Park on December 13th from 12pm-2pm.

Christmas is just around the corner and we can’t wait to celebrate the birth of Jesus together as a church family! On Christmas Eve, we will have two identical services at 4 PM + 5:30 PM. These services will be a special time for us to worship together as a church family and reflect on the Christmas story.

There will be no services on December 28. We encourage you to have a personal worship time alone or with friends and family.

We know connecting to a new church can be hard, and we want to do what we can to help make the process easier for you to know if Salem Chapel is the church for you. Over the course of a Friday evening and Saturday morning together, you’ll hear more about who we are, what we’re about, and how Jesus makes a difference in your everyday life. You’ll also hear about the different opportunities you can be a part of, what your kids and students can experience, and areas in our church and community that you can serve and get involved in.

Salem Chapel has partnered with Pathway Dominicana, a non-profit in the Dominican Republic whose goal is to reach every man, woman, and child for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These short-term trips will help facilitate and develop ministries in the communities connected to Pathway. Pathway currently serves eight village communities surrounding San Pedro.

Middle school is a season of big questions and big changes—and students need a place to navigate it all with faith and friends. On the third Sunday of each month during the 11am service, 6th and 7th graders will worship in the main service and then head to their own space designed just for them.

Join us on Monday evenings for open gym basketball. Anyone is welcome to come play pickup games, get some exercise, and connect with others from the church.
